FIRMO: SOLO ALBUM DETAILS UNVEILED

Street Symphonies Records & Burning Minds Music Group  announced all the details of “Rehab“, first official solo album by Italian singer/songwriter Gianluca Firmo. After the critical and fans’ acclaim received with the release of Room Experience in 2015 (fronted by rockstar vocalist David Readman), Gianluca was invited by the Street Symphonies‘ label team to express himself also as singer in a dedicated solo release, in order to show another side of his musical personality. With a finalized line-up of skilled and talented musicians, recruited appositely for backing Gianluca in this solo adventure, recordings started last year @ Atomic Stuff Studio (Isorella – Italy), under the technical supervision of sound engineer Oscar Burato (Airbound, Orphan Skin Diseases). The result is shown in twelve charming melodic rock songs, where Gianluca finally had the chance to share his personal singing style coached by the skills and experience of vocal producer Davide “Dave Rox” Barbieri (Raintimes, Room Experience, Wheels Of Fire, Charming Grace).

Gianluca says: “Beside the fact that it allows me to sing my own songs, this record for me is both a test and an achievement. A test because It’s the first time that I’m in charge for everything concerning the production of a record. And it is an achievement because I had the chance to work shoulder to shoulder in the studio with some amazing musicians, but also the luck to find a label that allowed me (and supported me) to work with no artistic boundaries and even make some unusual choices to follow my different musical influences and tastes. I feel the result is very personal and though it’s far from being perfect, it sure is my perfect rehab from being put in any frame. And as today I couldn’t be happier than this”.

Firmo‘s debut “Rehab” is set for release on October 19, 2018 via Street Symphonies Records / Burning Minds Music Group in Europe, while a dedicated Japanese release is expected later in November via AnderStein Music. Mastering duties have been handled by renowned studio engineer Roberto Priori (Danger Zone, Raintimes, Wheels Of Fire) @ PriStudio (Bologna – Italy). CD graphics have been designed instead by Aeglos Art (Airbound, Raintimes, Michael Kratz, Room Experience, Charming Grace), while the CD booklet features introductive liner notes written by renowned rock journalist Paul Woodward (Fireworks Magazine).

Melodicrock.it, in collaboration with Burning Minds Music Group & Rock Temple, the new italian mail order dedicated to all the rock / metal music fans, is  proud to announce the second official edition of “A Melodic Rock Night”! Organized by popular demand after the success of the first edition, “A Melodic Rock Night 2” will take place @ Dedolor Music Headquarters – Rovellasca (CO – ITALY). Italian melodic rock artists will represent once again the real event of the show, with three acts from the first edition of the festival (Hungryheart, Soul Seller & Wheels Of Fire) ready to offer a special acoustic set balanced on some of the best tracks taken from their discographies. Talking instead about the electric side of the show, we are proud to announce that veteran italian hard-rockers Danger Zone will perform presenting a setlist of songs taken from all their studio albums, including the last critical acclaimed “Closer To Heaven”.As per tradition “A Melodic Rock Night” will offer once again an exclusive event, so we are glad to present the first italian gig of danish artist Michael Kratz (recently signed by Art Of Melody Music), who will play songs taken from his forthcoming new album “Live Your Life”, a wonderful piece of art of classic AOR / Westcoast music, with legendary guest musicians involved in the line-up of the album (all details will be unveiled shortly). Michael Kratz will be expertly backed, for this special night, by italian newcomers Mindfeels, who recently proved their unquestionable skills thanks to their debut album “XXenty” (Art Of Melody Music), which they will present on-stage with two selected tracks performed during the show. The second edition of “A Melodic Rock Night” will coincide with the official release party of Michael Kratz‘s new album “Live Your Life”, that will be available for purchasing exclusively at the venue one week before of the official release date. STRAY BULLETS – New deal & Debut album announced…

Sneakout Records is glad to announce the signing of Italian hard rockers Stray Bullets for the release of their debut album. Their story begins back in 2007, when this hard rock combo coming from Verona (north of Italy) started to write the first songs together, in order to move their first steps for the making of their first studio album. It took three years to record and self-release “Lost Soul Town”, a demo/album with ten tracks entirely played and recorded by the band as a home-made recording. In the following years, Stray Bullets faced a series of line-up changes, which accidentally led them to focus their proposal on a more sleaze oriented rock style. In the summer of 2015, after the meeting with Oscar Burato and Stefano Gottardi of Burning Minds Music Group, Stray Bullets took the decision of putting the basis for a collaboration together, in order to improve the quality of their proposal. The band entered the doors of Atomic Stuff Studio under the artistic guidance of Oscar himself, finalizing (with the line-up composed by vocalist Alex Chinaski, guitar-players Steven Evil and Nick, bass-player Dave Dufford and drummer Zen) the eleven tracks of “Shut Up”, which includes most of the songs taken from “Lost Soul Town”, now re-written and re-arranged according to the soul and style of the new line-up. A new band, a new album, and a new adventure: Stray Bullets are ready to rock the world with the energy captured in their debut “Shut Up”.

POISONHEART: New deal from SNEAKOUT RECORDS

Sneakout Records is proud to announce the signing of Poisonheart for the release of their debut album “Till The Morning Light”. Founded back in the second half of 2000 by mastermind Fabio Perini, Poisonheart started their career as live cover band, touring extensively in the north of Italy to build their reputation of classic glam/punk-rock band, with roots firmly planted in the sound of the golden years. Soon the punk elements were left behind to introduce a more mature and personal sound, influenced not only by classic glam/sleaze rock music, but also featuring new influences coming from dark ‘n’ roll territories. For this reason (and after a lot of line-up changes), the new “updated” version of Poisonheart finally took the decision of entering the doors of Atomic Stuff Studios under the artistical guidance of producer and sound engineer Oscar Burato, to record their long awaited debut album “Till The Morning Light”. After one year of hard work, “Till The Morning Light” is now finally completed, and ready to be released on October 27th, 2017 via Sneakout Records. The cover artwork has been released by newcomer photographer Michele Gusmeri, who showed his talent in capturing the perfect “light/shadow” dualism that represents the main concept behind the sound and lyrics of “Till The Morning Light”.

Gianluca Firmo (Room Experience) – New Deal & Solo album on the way!

Street Symphonies Records is very proud to announce the signing of Room Experience’s mastermind Gianluca Firmo, for the release of his eponymous solo debut album.

Recordings are actually taking place at the Atomic Stuff Recording Studio (Isorella, Italy) under the technical supervision of Oscar Burato, with production duties handled by Gianluca himself.

Gianluca says: “Many of the songs I wrote (and I write) can’t be included in Room Experience albums, because not all the shades of melodic rock fit that kind of record. Beside that, I love singing, but my voice is not made for very high notes. Considering all this, I thought to pick some of my songs from those I love the most, and try to make a straight and forward melodic rock record, but less oriented in style.”

The tracks of the album will be all mixed by Oscar Burato, while mastering will be completed by renowned sound engineer Roberto Priori (Danger Zone, Wheels Of Fire, Raintimes).
A release date announcement is expected in early 2018.
