FERAL GHOST’s blend of classic songwriting, layered harmonies and accomplished musicianship, combined with memorable melodies and sharp modern production, has helped the band establish a unique musical voice since it was first put together by singer/songwriter Danny Warwick in 2012.

Rock duo Ledfoot & Ronni Le Tekrø have released a new single for ‘Shut Up‘, the song is taken from their new album “A Death Divine”, which will be out on October 2nd, 2020 via TBC Records.
“A Death Divine” is a meeting of giants between two unique guitarists, Ronni Le Tekrø and Ledfoot. It’s stadium rock in duo format.
Ronni Le Tekrø is best known for his unique playing style and as one of the founders of legendary TNT, and he has several times ranked as one of the world’s best guitarists regardless of genre. In addition to TNT, Ronni has released several solo albums and collaborated with a number of artists, including Terje Rypdal.
Ledfoot (Tim Scott McConnell) recently won Spellemann (Norwegian Grammy) in the blues class for his latest album ‘White Crow’. Leedfoot has developed his own playing style using a 12-string guitar with extra thick strings, steel plates and brass slide, often accompanied by stomp-box. In addition to four albums as Ledfoot, he has released several solo albums under his full name, played in The Havalinas, been covered by Bruce Springsteen (High Hopes) and played in the NRK series ‘Exit’.
Together they are Ledfoot & Ronni Le Tekrø, armed with a bunch of fantastic songs, a lot of guitars and the amplifiers set to 11 to blow you off the field.

It’s true often recording musicians will fall in love with their ‘first take’. Matney was no different. These were his babies. Some of the songs had been around since the early ’90s and Matney had performed them with a little local trio at small local clubs, county fairs, gas stations (that’s another story) etc.. They were tried and true, but fresh off the tour with the guys Matney knew there was a certain quality live that was missing with the recordings, so under the advice of Jeremy Golden Matney made plans to record in Nashville at Jay’s place. Jay Vernelli was a friend of Matney who had produced a blues album for him some years earlier. Jay is also known for producing albums for such artist as Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood and several other well-known artists.
Rather than start from scratch in the studio again Matney decided to keep his original instrument tracks and replace only those drum tracks. It was Jay who suggested Wayne Killius as a drummer for the new project. Wayne has several gold records and has recorded hits with the likes of Sheryl Crow, Keith Urban, Big And Rich etc. Through late fall and much of the winter, Matney made several trips to Nashville and spent more than several hours in the studio with Wayne and Ethan Barrette from Addiction Studiosgetting the drum tracks where they wanted them. Over the last few months, the band has found itself doing some critical listening and undertaking the expensive, and time-consuming task of mixing and mastering.
WHITE BOY AND THE AVERAGE RAT BAND featuring guitarist/singer Mike Matney, bassist Daryl “Rambo” Gibson and drummer Joby Barker will soon be heading out on a tour (yet to be named) that is scheduled to kick off on August 10th in Montana on the “Rockin’ the River Festival” alongside artists such as Zakk Wylde, Cheap Trick, Dokken, Warrant, Lou Graham, Asia and more.

German Neoclassical Heavy Metal band, ETERNAL FLAME, have released a lyric video for ‘Got A Rock & Roll Fever‘, featuring Göran Edman (ex-Yngwie Malmsteen, John Norum) on vocals. The song is taken from their third album ‘Smoke On The Mountain‘, to be out on May 18th, 2018 via ROAR! Rock Of Angles Records. The album includes 13 tracks, and featuring Mark Boals (ex-Yngwie Malmsteen, Ring of Fire) on vocals.
Eternal Flames Smoke On the Mountain comes off as more of a Deep Purple style album more than anything else. If you love great catchy classic-style hard rock with stunning lead guitar and vocals, then you will appreciate this album quite a bit. 8/10 (MyGlobalMind)

Norwegian melodic heavy rock/metal band, BIG CITY, have announced the release of their second album ‘Big City Life‘ as a double CD digipack including their 2013 debut album ‘Wintersleep‘ on June 22th, 2018 via ROAR! BIG CITY is a melodic heavy rock/metal band from Norway with tons of experience in the music industry. The members have been playing or still play in extreme bands as Satyricon and Blood Red Throne, but also the up and coming prog metal band Withem and many other bands.
The reason for Big City is songwriter Daniel Olaisen and his ideas throughout the last 10 years. He wanted to put his 80’s heavy riffs in a band and find suitable people to join him. Bandmate, Frank Ørland, also played with Daniel in Scariot (1999-2005, prog/thrash/heavy band featuring Communic members) and was an obvious choice to bring to Big City. Frank Nordeng Røe (Withem, Marathon, session drummer for Circus Maximus) on drums, was found when searching on internet. The band was completed with Jan Le Brandt on vocals and Geir Inge Olsen on session bass guitar. The debut album, Wintersleep, was recorded and released in 2013 digitally through Mayhem Music.
Big City continued to write material for another album. Miguel Pereira (Withem) was recruited as their new permanent bass player. Big City is now planning to perform live in 2018 for the first time!
REVERENCE have signed a multi album deal for Europe, CIS and UK with ROAR! Rock Of Angels Records. REVERENCE is working on a live CD and writing on a new full length studio album for an release later this year. REVERENCE will add some summer US shows, and a European tour is being planned for this fall.
REVERENCE recently released a EP ‘Foreverence‘ in tribute to their guitarist Pete Rossi, who passed away unexpectedly in March 2017. The EP is the follow-up to 2015’s Gods Of War and will also feature two bonus tracks from their up and coming live CD. All REVERENCE artwork is from Jobert Mello of Sledgehammer graphix.

REVERENCE’s debut album, ‘When Darkness Calls’ was released on Razar Ice Records on May 3rd 2012 to roaring reviews, the band headed across the pond for a UK and Europe 2013 tour and back to the USA for an East Coast run. Upon returning, with only a new four song demo they signed a three album deal with Marquee/Avalon Japan and went on to release their second album ‘Gods Of War’, released on October 21st in Asia through Marquee/Avalon and the rest of the world through Razar Ice Records on November 4th 2015 to more rave reviews from fans and critics alike. In December 1987 “LIVE IN MOSCOW” was recorded and released in 1988. For the first time with Heep Lanzon shows he’s an important songwriter (and singer) with his song MR. MAJESTIC. The 1989 release of RAGING SILENCE is the first Uriah Heep studio album for Lanzon. From this album “Bad bad man” is composed by Lanzon. In 1991 the heavily criticized DIFFERENT WORLD was released. In 1994 a techno/dance version of Gypsy goes around. On this maxi-CD four different versions of the song are recorded: ‘LUCKY HEATHER MIX’, DJ CLUB MIX’,’WEDGE MIX’, and RADIO MIX’. In 1995 the long awaited SEA OF LIGHT is released. At 8 of the 12 songs Lanzon did his job on the composition part. His own song ‘Mistress of all time‘ belongs to the strongest pieces of the album. The main opinion is this album is the best of Uriah Heep ever since the Byronline up. Lanzon succeeded in bringing back the roaring Hammond organ sound. September 1998 SONIC ORIGAMI, the latest album of Uriah Heep is released on the (UK) EAGLE RECORDS label. Lanzon is heavily involved in the composition work. Like on Sea of Light he worked a lot with Mick Box as a songwriter duo. His song writing potential is best shown in BETWEEN TWO WORLDS, he was also heavily involved in the arrangements, and in the epos “GOLDEN PALACE” a deep going bombast symphonic rock song. HEEP recorded the acclaimed ACCOUSTICALLY DRIVEN in 2001. LANZONscored the arrangements for the string quartet. This was followed by touring and festivals which included the release of various HEEP DVD’s. The long awaited release of WAKE THE SLEEPER, 2008, and consequently INTO THE WILD, 2011, saw LANZON‘S song writing establishing itself again. Some say that BETWEEN TWO WORLDS, GOLDEN PALACE and TRAIL OF DIAMONDS were heading more towards the ‘prog’ side of HEEP. LANZON thinks that the next album may enter those bright waters a little more deeply along with the straight ahead rock songs. Followed by ‘Outsider‘ in 2014, the greatest hits album ‘Totally Driven‘ in 2015 and the forthcoming album ‘Living The Dream‘, announced to be out in fall 2018,
UK Hard Rock band, DEEVER, have officially released their second storming single ‘All Come Running’. This second track from their as yet unnamed upcoming album shows they certainly aren’t a one trick pony and are already engraving their own sound into some well-produced tracks. All Come Running is now available on all digital platforms and the official lyric video is directed by Samuel Andrew Fenton.
